When we set out to create Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge, our intention was to provide the scenario free to the public. We were driven by our love for Marathon, addiction to creativity, belief in the project, and appreciation for all the cool people in the Marathon and Macintosh community.
Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge, therefore, has been labeled as Donationware. Donationware provides you the product without any obligation to pay for it, just like Freeware, but it humbly asks for donations. Unlike Shareware, if you feel no desire to make a donation, don't worry about it. Keep playing it for as long as you like. We set out to make this game for the enjoyment of all of you, and we would rather you keep the game on your disk and enjoy it. The reason it's Donationware is to hopefully raise enough money to provide everyone involved in the Morgana project some MMMG Morgana's Revenge T-shirts. If, by some remote chance, we get enough donations, we can also purchase better Macintosh tools for creating more cool toys for the Macintosh community. After playing the game for awhile, I think you'll agree that it's worth a donation, however small. For those donating $10 or more, you can expect to receive a 15% discount on any available Morgana's Revenge T-shirts.
